Q:If "heaven is our home" and we believe that we go there as soon as we die, why is long life considered to be a blessing? Why do we hang on to life and try to extend it as long as possible? In the Gospels it says: "...in this world you will have trouble...". Why then would anyone want to stay here if there is a place prepared for us in heaven?
