Q:I grew up in a strict Christian denomination and for me, God has always been a vengeful task master that I will never be able to please. Since coming to Concordia, I have a sense that I have been misled in my previous experience. Is there some place in the Bible or a book that will help me to know a loving God without being too cavalier or disrespectful?
